The fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, an American reality TV show, premiered on November 18, 2014, on Bravo. The show was mostly shot in Beverly Hills, California, whereby Barrie Bernstein, Andrew Hoegl, Andy Cohen, Pam Healy, and Lisa Shannon served as executive producers.

The season consists of 23 episodes and sees the return of the Richards, Brandi Glanville, Yolanda Foster, Lisa Vanderpump, as well as two new cast members: Eileen Davidson, an actress married to Vincent Van Patten, a former tennis player, and Lisa Rinna, a model, and actress married to Harry Hamlin.

Both original housewives Kim and Glanville left the show at the end of the season.

Foster fights Lyme disease with the help of Glanville, with whom she becomes closer. Vanderpump and Kyle still deal with the fallout from the previous season, which causes them to clash, and the two newcomers bond straight away due to their shared experiences in Hollywood.

With that in mind, we will take a look at the show’s top casts, season five summary, and the best episodes of the season.

Top Cast

For the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, five of the seven wives from season four returned. Season five featured the introduction of two new housewives, Eileen Davidson and Lisa Rinna, following the departure of the two housewives, Carlton and Giraud. The season also saw the guest appearances of the former cast members Adrienne Maloof, Camille Grammer, and Taylor Armstrong.

Davidson was born in Artesia, a city in southeast Los Angeles County, California. At the age of twenty-one, she pursued acting and rose to prominence in the now-cult classic, The House on Sorority Row. She also had appearances in Broken Badges and Eternity. However, Davidson’s most well-known performances are Ashley Abbott on The Young and the Restless and Kristen DiMera on Days of Our Lives. After three nominations, she went on to win an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress for her play of Kristen DiMera.

Rinna was born in Newport Beach, California, but raised in Medford, Oregon. She later returned to California to pursue a career as a model in San Francisco. Rinna changed careers several years after modeling and moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. She scored her first television job in The Hogan Family and was eventually featured in Baywatch. She is also a daytime actress best known for her appearances as Taylor McBride on Melrose Place and Billie Reed on Days of Our Lives.

Meanwhile, the two Lisas receive a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars while Yolanda deals with her daughter’s DUI aftermath at her house.

Kyle discovers that her daughter still has a lot to learn before leaving for college. Vanderpump is hosting a charity event at PUMP, and Glanville offers her an odd proposition.
