The fourth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH), an American reality TV show, premiered on November 4, 2013, on Bravo. Like other Beverly Hills shows, the series was mostly shot in Beverly Hills, with Andrew Hoegl, Lisa Shannon, Barrie Bernstein, Andy Cohen, and Pam Healy serving as executive producers. The series has a total of 23 episodes, with the Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, Yolanda Hadid, and Brandi Glanville returning for Season 4 of the reality show.
It also has two new cast members: Carlton Gebbia, an actress with a strong spiritual side who is married to a businessman, and Joyce Giraud de Ohoven, a Puerto Rican model and actress who is married to producer Michael Ohoven.
The women struggle with gossip, surgery, witchcraft, and petty rivalries throughout the season.
With that in mind, we will discuss the top cast members, season four synopsis, the never-ending drama, and the season’s most iconic episodes that no one should ever miss.
For the fourth season, five of the seven wives from season three returned. Adrienne Maloof was dismissed from the show during the season three reunion owing to her lack of presence. Taylor Armstrong also left after the third season. They both continued to appear as guest stars in subsequent seasons.
Aside from the two full-time cast members, three recurring cast members, Camille Grammer, Faye Resnick, and Marisa Zanuck, did not return for season four. Grammer continued to appear as a guest star in subsequent seasons. Resnick also made cameo appearances in the following seasons.
On the other hand, Zanuck confirmed that she had been let go from the show after being declined a return for season four. She hasn’t appeared in the series since.
Season four saw the addition of two new full-time cast members, Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud de Ohoven.
Gebbia grew raised in South Africa and London before relocating to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career, and she has since been in Suddenly Susan and The Young and the Restless. She collaborates closely with her husband David, who co-owns a multi-faceted family business alongside his father and brothers. StockCross Financial Services, Rival Sports Group, and Gebbia Custom Estates, a developer creating high-end custom houses in Beverly Hills for which Gebbia is the interior architectural designer, are among the companies in the portfolio.
Giraud is a native of Puerto Rico who began her career at fifteen after being scouted while working at KFC. Before pursuing modeling, she concentrated on getting two separate degrees in Special Education and Social Work. Giraud is also a producer, performer, and philanthropist. She rose to prominence as an actress with roles in films such as Dude, Where’s My Car?, and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
Season 4 opens with Kyle hosting a cocktail party at her home for the city’s Chamber of Commerce to commemorate Beverly Hills’ centennial and meet other local company owners. She hires Lisa’s luxury restaurant, SUR, to cater the event, but one of her servers starts talking back, forcing Vanderpump to send her home before the guests arrive.
Kyle tries to put aside her disagreements with Yolanda following last year’s violent reunion at the celebration, while Lisa works to keep tensions between Brandi and Scheana at bay. After the party, SUR employees Stassi, Jax, Katie, Tom, and Scheana go out to meet Kristen when severe conflicts arise. Scheana invites everyone to her birthday party in an attempt to restore her connection with the group, but it doesn’t take long for catfights to break out.
Vanderpump receives encouragement from the group when she competes on “Dancing With the Stars.” Yolanda needs to prepare for surgery while Kim’s sister plans a lunch for new gal pals Joyce and Carlton, and Brandi’s mother arrives.
Gebbia organizes a lunch for the women in her stunning Gothic mansion. Kim’s sister irritates Carlton by asking too many questions about witchcraft, but she finds herself on the defensive when Brandi leads the ladies to discuss Mauricio’s adultery allegations in the newspapers.
Yolanda’s mother and brother arrive from Holland just in time to witness Foster receive his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Richards and Kathy attend Kimberly’s high school graduation. Brandi shares a Gebbia secret that leaves Vanderpump stunned.
Kyle is stunned when Carlton confronts her with a litany of issues when the ladies come to Palm Springs for a girls’ bonding weekend. Brandi irritates Joyce by frequently referring to her as Jaclyn, among other things, and the group dinner swiftly devolves into chaos when a slightly drunk Brandi causes a fight with Kim’s sister.
