Upper Crust Wood Fired Pizza is a relatively new pizza palace that has come out to give the New York-style pizza a try in Oklahoma City. Pizzeria Gusto, a hip brick-lined joint, offers gourmet wood-fired pies, small plates, cocktails, and draft beer. The restaurant is located in the historic Uptown district near 23rd Street and Walker Avenue. Unlike other pizzerias on this list, the Pizzeria Gusto offers Napoleon-style pizza. The dough is made with a very soft, fine type 00 flour from Italy, and the tomato sauce is made from crushed San Marzano tomatoes, which come from just east of Naples.
Pizzeria Gusto oven was even hand-built in Naples. As a result, the size of the pie, the cooking time (about 90 seconds), and even the number of toppings are all dictated by the time-honored tradition of Pizza Napoletana. The perfect pie will have small charred bubbles around the outside of the crust, and the center will be soft.

This place is so popular because it’s one of the only places that serves New York-style pizzas by the slice. Their pizzas are 20 inches in diameter, which is great for large families.
