# 10 – San Diego Zoo

Explore magnificent works of art from all around the world. The museum has special attractions that change every couple of weeks. They also have wonderful programs for the kids. In fact, the San Diego Museum of Art is a very student centered museum. If you have kids, this is a great place to visit.
# 8 – Belmont Park
Want to go on a roller caster that’s over ninety years old? Come on, you know you do. Belmont Park is the home of the Giant Dipper; an old school roller coaster that you must try. It’s the main attraction at this very cool seaside park. And if your not the roller coaster type, there are plenty of more fun rides at Belmont park for you and your family. Check out their great bumper car rides like Krazy Kars and Overdrive Bumper Cars. Take a spin on the classic Tilt A World or dare to ride the Zero Gravity. There is a also a section for rock climbing and plenty of restaurants and snack bars. A sunny day in San Diego won’t be complete without a fun trip to Belmont Park.

Possibly the number one place in San Diego to visit if you have kids is the wonderful SeaWorld San Diego. Imagine the look on your children’s eyes as they pet a penguin in the wonderful Penguin Encounter exhibit, or get up close with a friendly dolphin. There are so many wonderful exhibits at SeaWorld San Diego. Your children and even yourself will just be blown away by the creatures of the sea. Additionally, SeaWorld in San Diego has some amazing rides. The roller coaster is out of this world. There is so much to do at SeaWorld in San Diego. This is a place we highly recommend.

Mission Beach reminds me of the Jersey Shore in many ways. It’s a place like Atlantic City and Asbury Park which are famous for their boardwalks that line the beaches. If your looking for an exciting part of San Diego where you can enjoy a beautiful beach and an exciting boardwalk lined with restaurants, snack bars, fun shops, rides and vendors selling everything under the sun, than Mission Beach is for you.

Coronado Beach is the opposite of Mission Beach. This is a much calmer beach idea for families and couples who just want to relax in a more peaceful atmosphere than Mission Beach. There is no boardwalk here, just long stretches of sand that make up one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The beach is also flanked by the wonderful and majestic Hotel De Coronado.
