# 10 – Swope Park
Swope Park is a large park that spans about 1,800+ acres. That makes Swope Park about 2x the size of Central Park that is the well known park located in New York City. You can find a variety of trails here to walk on, that will lead you through the grassy woodlands and meadows. For something to do outdoors in Kansas City, head on over to Swope Park with the family for the day. Not only can you find trails and trees, plants etc, but there are also occasional concerts put on there as well in outdoor venues. The Kansas City Zoo also isn’t far.
