The eighth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills – an American reality TV show, debuted on Bravo on December 19, 2017, with Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave joining the group as a newcomer. Grammer reappeared as a housewives friend, while Davidson, Resnick, and Maloof appeared as guests. Bethenny Frankel of The Real Housewives of New York City also made an appearance as a guest.

As is original Beverly Hills Housewife Camille Grammer, who starred in the show’s first two seasons, returned this time as a friend of the housewives. On the other hand, Davidson, Resnick, and Maloof appeared as guests.

Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, the daughter of music superstar John Cougar Mellencamp, joined the cast as a new housewife. Teddi, married to Edwin Arroyave and has two little children and one stepchild at home, works as a fitness coach and writer for her business LA Workout Junkie when she’s not into drama.

Synopsis

Season eight of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills begins with the women jetting out to Vegas for a night of debauchery. Kyle and Lisa Vanderpump hire a private plane to whisk the ladies to Las Vegas for a group birthday celebration, but Rinna’s participation is uncertain. Teddi, Dorit’s new pal, strikes up a friendship with Vanderpump over drinks, and they invite her along for the trip. Vanderpump evaluates her friendship with Erika and begins to reconsider their relationship. The girls broke loose in Sin City, and familiar faces joined in on the fun.

Teddi’s role as an accountability coach raises concerns among the group. Erika’s friendship is brought into doubt when Vanderpump criticizes her for not replying every time she reaches out. Kyle and Dorit had a disagreement with Rinna and confronted her on the High Roller. Teddi’s attempts to get to know Erika have left her cold.

Erika is compelled to confront her history. Vanderpump assists PK in planning Dorit’s birthday dinner, during which an unexpected guest delivers a speech. Teddi begins to have doubts about Dorit’s character. Kyle spends her holiday in Croatia with her family. Rinna and Erika fly to Tokyo to assist Amelia and Delilah’s latest modeling engagement, but Lisa realizes the girls may not need her as much as she imagined. Kyle ends up regretting not being able to share her newfound career as a TV producer with her sisters; Dorit relaunches her swimwear brand; Erika is startled by unexpected news, and Vanderpump encourages Dorit to make amends with Grammar.

On Days of Our Lives, Rinna returns to her roots as Billie. Vanderpump learns about the lawsuit, but Kyle and Dorit don’t react the way she expects, forcing Lisa to leave them. Teddi’s beach house weekend comes to a sudden and unexpected disastrous end when Dorit reveals to Erika everything said about her after her unexpected departure. Rinna assists her daughter, Delilah, in settling in New York City. Personal information about Vanderpump is disclosed publicly. Some of the ladies are concerned about how she will react once Lisa finds out.

Dorit tries to open up to Vanderpump while she’s still in New York for Fashion Week, but Lisa isn’t convinced she’s getting the whole picture. Erika meets with her publisher to discuss the status of her book. Dorit seeks to re-enter Lisa Vanderpump’s good graces with front-row seats to New York Fashion Week, while Kyle demands an apology from Lisa but doubts she’ll receive one. Erika and Lisa Rinna go out for drinks with an old acquaintance, Davidson. Kyle is torn between staying in her current home and moving after finding her dream home suddenly.

The episode opened the season and set a high standard for the drama. The women fly to Las Vegas on a private jet to celebrate some of their birthdays, but Rinna’s presence is uncertain. Former RHOBH stars Maloof and Camille also make appearances in this episode.

Thank You, Thuck You: S08, E11

In this episode, Dorit seeks to re-enter Vanderpump’s good graces with front-row seats to New York Fashion Week, while Kyle demands an apology from Lisa but doubts she’ll receive one. Erika runs across Kyle’s old pal, Bethenny, who was dismissive of Erika’s music the last time they met. Rinna’s daughter is already missing her mother. Vanderpump is persuaded to do the unthinkable by Teddi.

Holy Schnitzel: S08, E16

Kyle and Rinna’s calm horseback ride through the German countryside takes a frightening turn. While touring the Eisenman Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall, the ladies become emotional. When the ladies spend the night dancing in a Berlin beer hall, they get into the spirit of Oktoberfest.

Reunion (Part 3): S08, E21

As the reunion comes to a close, Andy delves into the causes for Lisa Vanderpump’s feud with Dorit. As the girls reminisce about their trip to Berlin, they wonder why Lisa Vanderpump was so angry with Kyle for forgetting her grandma’s name. Kyle becomes tearful when she talks about her sisters’ lack of support for her new endeavors.

Summary

RHOBH returned for another season of high fashion and drama and a glimpse inside the Beverly Hills lifestyle. Throughout the season, Richards is divided between moving to her new dream home and refurbishing the house where she raised her children. Vanderpump juggles her job as a magazine editor with her newfound interest in rescuing dogs, while other ladies, including the newest housewife, fitness trainer Teddi, compete for a spot in the group.
