Our 50 Best Fast Food Items Of All Time is a fun look back at the most enjoyable and legendary Fast Food Sandwiches, and everything else fast food in modern history. Fast Food has come a long way over the past 100 years since the days when McDonald’s was king. Funny, but in many ways, one could argue that Mcdonald’s still wears the crown. We tried to keep this to just the fast-food joints where you could get whatever you wanted in under five minutes as long as there were no lines. That’s what we call fast food!

# 50 –  Wetson’s “Big W” Burger

They closed in the mid-1970s but I will never forget how good this burger was.

# 49 – Chick-fil-A  Frozen Diet Lemonade

This is the only diet option on this list. It’s the most amazing diet drink we have ever tasted.

# 48 – Nathan’s Clam Strips

I can’t believe just how good these are.

# 47 – Mcdonald’s Sausage, Egg & Cheese Mc Griddle.

It’s amazing how McDonald’s delivered such a perfect breakfast sandwich.

# 46 – 7-Eleven Slurpee – Cola Flavor

Hand’s down Cola is the best flavor, but cherry and blue raspberry are a close second and third.

# 45 – Kenny Rogers  Roast Chicken

It was so good, much better than Boston Chicken, but it’s gone……….

# 44 – Roy Rogers Double R Bar Burger

There are not as many Roy Rogers stores as there used to be, but they are still around, especially at highway rest stops.

# 43 –  Burger King Whaler

Replaced by the Big Fish, we liked the Whaler better.

# 42 – McDonald’s Double Cheeseburger

One of their hidden gems.

# 41 – Subway Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki Sub

# 40 – Whataburger Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich

# 39 – McDonald’s Apple Pie

I will always take these over their french fries in my combo meals.

# 18 – Hardees Steak Sandwich

This has been discontinued, but it was the best sandwich they ever produced.

# 16 – Nathans French Fries

The most underrated french fires in the. business.

# 15 – McDonald’s Orginal Hamburger

I still buy this one and it always brings me back to being ten years old and tasting my first fast-fast burger in my life. It’s all about those onions and the pickle. It all works in perfect unison.

# 14 –  In-N-Out  Double-Double Burger

It would be interesting to see how successful they would be if they ever started opening up on the East Coast in cities like New York.

# 13 – Roy Rodgers Fried Chicken

They never get enough credit for how good their fried chicken is.

# 12 – Wendy’s Single With Cheese

Wendy’s uses really good quality meat and they know how to cook it. This is the sandwich in which you can really taste how good their meat is.

# 11 – Burger King Orginal Chicken Sandwich

It may not be all-white meat chicken, but the spices in the breadcrumbs in this one are highly addicting.

# 10 – McDonald’s French Fries

# 8 – Arby’s Beef ‘N Cheddar

In the number eight spot on our Best Fast Food Items of All Time List list, we present the grand Arby’s Beef ‘N Cheddar. The mix of Arbys barbeque sauce, fresh roast beef, and cheddar on an onion bun make this one an exquisite, culinary fast food experience that is of this world.

# 7 – CHICK-FIL-A Fried Chicken Nuggets

In the number seven position on our Best Fast Food Items of All Time List list is CHICK-FIL-A Fried Chicken Nuggets. No other fast food item ever came as close to mom’s home cooking as these ravishing chicken nuggets.

# 6 – Popeyes Chicken Sandwich

Landing in the number six spot on our Best Fast Food Items of All Time List list we present the Popeyes Chicken Sandwich. Amazing real white meat chicken on a superb role with the perfect blend of mayonnaise and pickles make this the greatest chicken sandwich we have ever tasted.

Are we just so used to McDonald’s that we can’t help but love most of their classic items better than all the others? Most fast-food fish sandwiches taste somewhat similar to each other. Not this one.

# 4 – White Castle Cheeseburger

At the number four spot on our list, we present the White Castle Cheeseburger. This is probably the oldest fast food item on the list. They call them belly bombers, but it’s so worth it.

How do they do it?  Why is this amazing Nathan’s Original Hot Dog so much better than any other Hot Dog we have ever tasted? And more importantly, why do the supermarket prepackaged Nathans Hot Dog taste no way as good as the ones you buy at the actual Nathan’s stands?

We close out our 50 Best Fast Food Items Of All Time list with maybe the most famous and most successful fast food item of all time. McDonald’s marketed this sandwich brilliantly when it was first introduced in the early 1970s. It may have gotten smaller in size over the years, but it tastes the same in 2022 as it did in 1972.  Like my friend Tom says, nothing else in the fast-food world taste like it.
