Imo’s pizza is a long-history pizza chain based out of St. Louis, Missouri. The company was founded in 1964 by Ed and Margie Imo. They’re also located in the heart of The Hill, St. Louis’s Little Italy. The Carretero family has owned and operated Guido’s since the beginning.
The family immigrated to the United States from Spain and opened the restaurant as a way to share their culture and cuisine with the people of St. Louis. The menu at Guido’s is full of classic Italian and Spanish dishes. Some of our favorites include homemade lasagna, award-winning pizza, and rich caramelized flan. But really, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
Their pizza has this amazing thin crust that is crispy and chewy simultaneously. And their sauce is the perfect balance of sweet and savory. We could go on and on about how delicious their pizza is, but we’ll say it’s one of the best slices in St. Louis.
